SUN 8 AUG - LUSAKA CHIAWA SAFARI CAMP
. Your safari begins upon arrival in Lusaka, where you will be met and
assisted onto your private charter to Jeki- Lower Zambezi National Park.
The view is spectacular as you wing your way over the vast wilderness.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Chiawa Safari Camp
Chiawa sits on an exquisite location under a sandy grove of mahogany
trees in the heart of big game country with expansive views of the
mighty Zambezi river. Camp consists of 8 spacious safari tents, each on
its own elevated platform overlooking the river. The chefs take pride in
their renowned cuisine. What could be better than a divine dinner served
out of doors in the wilds of Zambia?
MON 9 AUG - WED 11 AUG CHIAWA SAFARI CAMP
You have these next few days to enjoy this unique area. You can go on
bush walks as well as day and evening game drives. Chiawa also offers
evening animal viewing by boat. Just imagine cruising down the river at sunset sipping a Pimms Cup while watching families of animals drinking and cavorting along the river shores.
THU 12 AUG - SAT 14 AUG KAFUE KAPANI SAFARI LODGE
Enjoy one final game drive in the Lower Zambezi before returning to Jeki
for your safari flight to Mfuwe and the South Luangwa National Park.
South Luangwa is home to the leopard and you will have ample chance to view this magnificent cat in his natural habitat
FRI 13 AUG - SAT 14 AUG KAPANI SAFARI LODGE
Kapani, built by world famous conservationist Norman Carr, is situated on a large lagoon beside the Luangwa River. From the veranda of your newly renovated stone cabin, you can see the river teeming with hippos. Carr pioneered the walking safari which offers great opportunities to photograph animals at eye level.
On the night game drives at Kapani, you often can view leopards doing
their nocturnal "thing" i.e. courting, mating, hunting, or tending the cubs.
SUN 15 AUG CHINDENI
Transfer by vehicle to Chindeni Tented Camp where you will dine out
under the stars this evening. Both day and evening game drives are offered as well as walking safaris with a professional guide. Situated on the edge of a permanent lagoon with the Chindeni Hills as a backdrop the camp is small with only 4 en suite tents built on wooden platforms each tent with its own private deck for game viewing.
MON 16 AUG- WED 18 AUG CHINDENI
Spend the next two days exploring the area around Chindeni both on foot
and by safari vehicle. You can even visit a local village/or school Enjoy
this area by game drives and candlelight dinners.
WED 18 AUG TENA TENA CAMP
Transfer by vehicle to Tena Tena. As quoted in The London Times,
"Tena Tena Camp is altogether beyond superlatives and must be one of the
best safari camps in the whole of Africa." This small and remote camp
lies within the National Park and enjoys a stunning location on a wide
bend of the Luangwa River. Near by there is a spectacular lagoon, Buca
Buca, where an entire morning can be spent quietly sitting while the game
comes down to feed and drink.
THU 19 AUG - FRI 20 AUG TENA TENA CAMP
Being remote and so small, you have all these scenes to yourselves.
You will have all day and evening to enjoy the serenity , the vast variety of wild life and the incomparable hospitality of Robin and Jo Pope, proprietors of this spectacular set-up.
FRI 20 AUG NSEFU SAFARI LODGE
After breakfast, you will be transferred by safari vehicle to Nsefu
12 kilometers north of Tena Tena and still in the South Luangwa National Park. This camp lies in the heart of the undeveloped Nsefu sector offering charm and total comfort in remoteness and seclusion. Activities here include day and night game drives and wilderness walks.
Nsefu was the first game camp in Zambia and dates back to the early
fifties. The camp was reopened in 1999 in keeping with the original style.
The view of the river is superb and includes a terraced area where game grazes during the day. The bar, tucked in beside a huge extinct termite mound, overlooks a waterhole that is very productive for game, especially leopard at night. Each room has a clear view of the river through either large windows or the new wooden verandas.

SUN 23 AUG LUNGA SAFARI LODGE
Private charter from Mfuwe to Kafue National Park. Kafue is Africa's largest National Park and protects a variety of habitats through which flow a series of unique rivers. The Kafue and the Lunga river are wide, slow flowing, clear rivers bordered by narrow bands of forest. Remote and unexplored, this park offers excellent viewing of a wide variety of mammals and birds. Lunga River Lodge is situated on the northern border of Kafue National Park and accommodates a maximum of 12 guests in 6 well appointed chalets with en suite shower and flush toilet. The main lodge boasts an elevated dining room facing the sunset, a boma for campfires, and a bar with sundeck suspended over the river. A swimming pool completes the scene. MON 24 AUG BUSANGA BUSH CAMP
Road transfer to Busanga Bush camp on the Busanga Plains approx 5
hours drive.. The plains are teeming with wildlife including herds of zebra, blue wildebeest, buffalo, puku, roan and sable antelope, hartebeest, and their predators, cheetah, lion, and leopard. These plains are one of Zambia's gems and are the ultimate location for lion viewing. A picnic
lunch will be served en route.
Busanga Bush camp has intimate and comfortable accommodations with
only 4 thatched huts with open air en suite hot/cold bucket shower.
TUE 25 AUG- WED 27 AUG BUSANGA BUSH CAMP
Spend the next two days exploring this incredible plain which is so vast,
that it stretches in all directions for as far as the eye can see, The local
guides are excellent and you can experience game drives as well as bush
walks.
WED 27 AUG - FRI 29 AUG LUNGA SAFARI LODGE
You will be transferred back to Lunga River Lodge at the Kafue
National Park. You will have two more days to enjoy this wonderful
area.

PAYMENTS:
A $2,000.00 per person deposit is due at time of booking, $500.00 of which is non refundable. Balance of payment is due ninety days prior to departure. Insurance coverage will protect all payments. Since accommodations are very limited in these camps, we urge to send your deposit at once.
CANCELLATIONS:
A cancellation fee of $500.00 per person will be charged up to 90 days prior to departure. For cancellation received 90 days or less before departure the cancellation will be subject to forfeiture of the entire land arrangement costs. Unused tour features or services are not refundable or exchangeable for other tours or services.
PASSPORT:
A current passport, valid for six months after your return, is required.
